Industry Leader in Hygenics KLEENLine Corporation Selects ABB Robot for KLEENPic HighSpeed Robotic Picking System
Newburyport, Mass — KLEENLine Corporation, for over 25 years the industry leader in the design and construction of ultra-sanitary food manufacturing equipment, has selected the ABB IRB360 Flexpicker for its new KLEENPic Series of High Speed Robotic Food Picking Systems.
The introduction of our KLEENPic Series of Robotic Food Picking Systems featuring ABB’s IP69K Stainless Steel Flexpicker Robot extends the Company’s expertise into the high-speed robotic picking sector.
KLEENLine’s decision is aimed squarely at one of the food industry’s major concerns — microbiological contamination and over all food safety. It also helps address contamination fallout costs from product recalls and the potential loss of consumer confidence.
Fully configurable to meet individual requirements, the KLEENPic series is available as a single robot single product in-feed robotic cell as well as a multiple in-feed, multiple robot and as fully integrated manufacturing system.
“Advancements in the hygienic design of robots have been driven by the increasing call to achieve the highest level of sanitation in the handling of raw food products,” said John Bubnikovich, executive director, marketing and business development, ABB Robotics. “Working with KLEENLine, a clear leader in the development and integration of sanitary processing equipment, will help bring the benefits of higher outputs and consistent hygiene to food, pharmaceutical and other sanitation sensitive applications.” Read the ABB Release.
ABB recently signed KLEENLine Corporation as a new system integrator in its Channel Partner Program.
KLEENLine CEO Jim Laverdiere added, “Our partnership with ABB has enabled KLEENLine to offer our customers high speed robotic pick-and-place systems, adhering to the same stringent sanitary standards we’ve specialized in for over 25 years.”
