To meet increased customer demand our client was looking to increase throughput of product while reducing the footprint required to process their product.
Currently the customer utilized a batch process where the product was loaded onto trays and placed on racks. The racks were then put in a room for a set period of time. This process is very labor intensive and the time spent in the climate controlled room could vary considerably.
Working with the end user KLEENLine designed and engineered a system that converted the system to a continuous process. This tighten up the process time eliminating significant variations in processing time and allowed the process to have two unique process zones. With the continuous process system the time temperature and humidity for each zone can be precisely controlled and results in a continuous output of product under uniform processing conditions.
The new system takes up less space than the previous holding room and allows the customer to add a second line with out needing any additional initiating or curing system. |
